Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

For the Cheese Filling

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

For Garnish

  • fresh basil leaves optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, ricotta cheese, minced garlic, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  • Cut a pocket into the side of each chicken breast.
  • Stuff each chicken breast with the cheese mixture and secure with toothpicks if necessary.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired and serve immediately.
