These snickerdoodle bars are soft and chewy with a cinnamon sugar topping. You mix a simple dough, press it into a pan, add the topping, and bake.

large eggs

Topping

ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper.
Mix the melted butter and sugar until blended.
Beat in the eggs one at a time. Add the vanilla extract.
Whisk the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
Spread the batter into the pan.
Mix the sugar and cinnamon for the topping. Sprinkle it over the batter.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool fully before lifting out and slicing.
Notes
You can cut the bars into small or large pieces based on your needs.
